Air Construction Permit Training Webinars

August 13, 2015

The Iowa DNR Air Quality Bureau recently updated the Air Construction Permit Application forms. The Linn County Public Health Air Quality Division subsequently modified its construction permit application forms to align with the Iowa DNR for consistency purposes and ease for business, industry, and consultants which conduct business across Iowa.

The Iowa DNR Air Quality Bureau is planning to hold two training webinars to discuss the updates on the following dates and times.  Linn County will not be holding a separate training webinar so you are encouraged to participate in one of DNR's if interested:

• Wednesday, September 2 (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. C.D.T.)
• Wednesday, September 2 (1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. C.D.T.)

This training had been tentatively scheduled for August 26, but was moved to the September 2 date. The two sessions will cover the same material. The training will review the modifications and new features of the forms. It will also provide general guidance concerning the application forms and process, including how to properly complete an application, common errors, tips, FAQ, and a Q&A session. You may either participate via the webinar or be part of the live audience at the Air Quality Bureau’s office at 7900 Hickman Road, Windsor Heights.

To reserve your seat to attend in person, please contact Michael Hermsen at (515) 725-9577 or and indicate which session you will be attending.
