Ordinance Final & Updated Construction Application Forms

The Board of Supervisors approved various revisions to Chapter 10 of the Linn County Code of Ordinances at its March 23 board meeting.  This information will be submitted to IDNR and EPA for their review and approval for inclusion into our State Implementation Plan within the next 30 days.  The rulemaking consists of a general rulemaking which incorporates the changes IDNR has made to the Iowa Administrative Code over the past 12 months which include accepting delegation of various Federal regulations which will affect business and industry in Linn County.  A public hearing and first consideration of the ordinance was heald on March 14 with the second consideration held on March 16.  No public comments were received during the comment period which ran from February 9 - March 14, during the public hearing or either of the two subsequent considerations by the Board.  The ordinance in its entirety can be found here.

In addition, the following construction permit forms have been updated: Form EC, Form EI and Form GHG.  The revisions to these forms was necessary to incorporate the Federal Greenhouse Gas Tailoring rule issued final by EPA on December 23, 2010.  These revised forms can be found here.  All construction permit applications received after April 1, 2011 will be required to submit the current forms.

Concurrently the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Air Quality Bureau revised various Title V application forms.  The revised forms the Title V Instructions, Form 1.5Form RE-03 and Form RE-04
